The latest game in the popular footy management series, Football Manager 2014, is released on 31st October 2013. We’re running a promotion with Sega that allows early access to the game two full weeks ahead of release. We’re getting a lot of questions about the Early Access Beta, so we’ve put together a short FAQ to answer these:
When will I get access to the beta?
Update on 16th October: Steam Beta Early Access Keys are in stock and being sent now! There’s only a finite amount so grab them whilst they’re available.
The beta opens ‘two weeks’ ahead of release. We haven’t been told of an official date yet, but it’s looking likely to be October 17th.
How do I get access?
Order now and you will get a separate Steam key that can be redeemed for early access to the Beta. When the final game is released on October 31st, you won’t be able to access the Beta and will have another key sent from the retail boxes to redeem on Steam.
The Beta keys are text keys sent to us direct from the distributor.
Is the full game?
Pretty much. The developers use these final few weeks for tweaking, but there shouldn’t be any major changes and you’ll have access to the full game/season.
Will my saved game carry over?
Yep. You can carry on playing seamlessly when the retail key is sent.
Will it be really buggy?
Unlikely. Previous betas have been in a near final state.
Sounds great! Where do I preorder?
It does, doesn’t it? Get the FM14 Steam Early Access Beta Key here for £26.99/€31,99.
